Queen of the Pond by Christiane Kingsley

*Please email me if you are interested in this painting.

This painting of a single waterlily flower has a delicate oriental look. It is painted in watercolors on a 8" X 8' watercolor paper adhered to a 1" thick cradled wood panel; it is varnished in order to be displayed like an acrylic or oil painting. No glass! It could even be left unframed and displayed on a small easel or on the wall.

  1. Beautiful!
What a great idea to varnish your watercolors, eliminating the need for glass.

  2. Marina,
I find that it gives me the option of two very different looks and display options for my watercolors.
