This painting of a single waterlily flower has a delicate oriental look. It is painted in watercolors on a 8" X 8' watercolor paper adhered to a 1" thick cradled wood panel; it is varnished in order to be displayed like an acrylic or oil painting. No glass! It could even be left unframed and displayed on a small easel or on the wall.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to varnish your watercolors, eliminating the need for glass.
Marina,
ReplyDeleteI find that it gives me the option of two very different looks and display options for my watercolors.
