To me, this bespeaks the whole feeling of fall.   The reference picture I took to paint this was from a neighbors vine.  It had beautiful pinkish flowers all summer, but in the fall all that remained was paper white, dried flowers with brown berries.  There were a few dried up greenish leaves as well.  It became quite striking in an entirely different way.
