The piano stands alone
Neither lost nor forlorn
Just a confident fellow
Black and white outside
Inside, mellow.
Its song is melodious
With high notes that soar
But can be quite odious
When notes don’t sound sure
One thing is certain
With a rising stage curtain
The piano likes to play
The solos he’s given
In a most excellent way!
