Painters Log, Earth date Sept 29th, 2009
I have been doing some similar paintings with moody dark backgrounds and I LIKE IT! the background is definitely just as important as the subject matter, just as negative space is to positive space. I did a painting like this that sold, so I hope this is as appealing as that one was. I have been very busy not only with painting but with other projects I have in the mix, so my blogging will be a little sporadic at times. I also will be starting 4 commission paintings for a client of mine, so I will be blogging those paintings as they progress. Well thanks for stopping by and remember to keep those brushes wet.
